Our walks are leisurely with great camaraderie. Come join us!

OLLI Chew the Fat Discussions and Weigh-in: Members meet in Room 19 on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. to discuss nutrition, weight loss, fitness and exercise. This is a light hearted informative meeting led by nursing professional, Barbara Talento, the RGC registered nurse, and an occasional guest lecturer including CSUF’s exercise coordinator Jeana French. Members then report to the nurse’s station which is adjacent to the Mackey Auditorium anytime between 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. to have their weight taken by the RGC R.N. and recorded in the member’s personal weigh-in record booklet. Members also receive a weekly food journal to chart their daily food intake. The RGC R. N. will also take blood pressure readings and discuss other medical and dietetic issues.

Come give this home-grown program a try and your body a treat.
Participants lost an average of 4.5 lbs. last semester.
