Activity Groups — This title is applied to groups that gather to perform some kind of activity at a given place and time, with no special preparation required.

Special Events — These include field trips to places of significant educational interest or other occasional events. Since many require such arrangements as charter buses or theater tickets, it is necessary to have reservations and payment in advance.

When an event is oversubscribed, reservations are placed on a waiting list. Should there be a sufficient number on the waiting list, every effort will be made to obtain additional transportation or to schedule the event again at a later date. See Special Events Registration Policy (page 69) in this Blue Book for a detailed explanation of reservations and fees for special events.

Brown Bag Lunches — Eating with other members of OLLI-CSUF is a good way to get acquainted. When you bring your lunch, you will usually have company in Shapiro Wing A or in the patio near the kitchen. Lunches may be stored in the refrigerator. Also, sack lunches may be taken on bus trips when special luncheon arrangements have not been made.
